Or do you mean that you want to trigger the board at the time a strobe goes off (external trigger). If so, the DT3155 can do either. As for driving the camera, so you mean sending sync from the board to the camera? This the DT3155 cannot do, but a newer PCI board, the DT3152 can do.The DT3152 is not yet support by Image Tool, but will be at some point (hopefully soon).Mike ByerlyProduct ManagerData Translation ----------From: it-list[SMTP:it-list@sparky.uthscsa.edu]Sent: Wednesday, February 21, 1996 3:31 PMTo: mbyerlySubject: Frame GrabbersWe're putting together a system with camera/frame grabber, etc., and we'replanning to use IT. Briefly, this requires IT to grab a sequence (4-10) of images to RAM, write certain values to system addresses (which moves a filter wheel) and grab a second sequence of images. Each sequence of images then needs to be averaged. Then one average needs to be arithmetically divided by the other. The final ratio image needs to be pseudocoloured.	Also, what DataTranslation framegrabbers are supported by IT at present?	I apologise if all this is obvious in IT, but our university is yet to support Win95 and so I can't evaluate IT myself yet.	thanks in advance Tony Collins Molecular Signalling Group ICMB University of Edinburgh Scotland	------------------------------Date: Thu, 22 Feb 1996 17:04:04 PSTFrom: Jim McClean To: it-list@sparky.uthscsa.eduCc: j.mcclean@qub.ac.ukSubject: ImageTool problems (fwd) + problems sendingMessage-ID: Forwarded Message:From: Jim McClean Date: Thu, 22 Feb 1996 16:01:49 PSTSubject: ImageTool problemsTo: deahl@uthscsa.eduCc: j.mcclean@qub.ac.ukIf this is the wrong mail address for ImageTool problems, I apologise. I did not think it right to send to the it-list list since this would mean everyone would get a copy. Is this what is supposed to happen?Problems with ImageTool:-After performing a FIND OBJECTS which works correctly, OBJECT ANALYSIS reports ' ... no objects in the image'. At some stage I also get ' .. 1 levels in threshold'. The SAMPLE SHOWING THE OBJECT ANALYSIS on the same image gives 2 levels and correctly calculates the object measurements. Using INTERACTIVE HISTOGRAM STRETCH, the copy of the image is displayed but the Histogram window does not appear.Erosion/dilation/open/close are dimmed. I am using a 496 with 8 Mbyte ram.Are there any plans to introduce drawing tools, in particular, the pencil for writing and erasing? This is very useful for minor touching up of the image e.g. to separate objects.-------------------------------------------------! Jim McClean !!
