Am I right in thinking that you cannot (yet?) get a graph of parametersselected from the Object Analysis results (in my case, this first time,I am really after a plot of number of particles as a function ofparticle size)? I realise the results, after defining the parameter(e.g. area) and classification bin values (though these didn't appear inmy results sheet, just 1,2,3.... numbers for the bins), can be exportedto Excel and a plot can be created there, but wouldn't it be nice to beable to plot, say, number of objects as a function of selected parameterwith the parameter range split into either user defined classificationsor a defined number of bins, equally spaced?Secondly, am I correct in assuming (from my experiments with thesoftware this afternoon) that spatial calibration only applies tosubsequent measurements of distance and area but not to the objectanalysis results displayed in the results sheet? These always seemed togive the same results, which I guess are in pixels, square pixels, etc.rather than in calibrated units.Thankyou,Keith HallamUniversity of BristolInterface Analysis Centre------------------------------Date: Thu, 18 Jul 1996 11:00:37 -0500 (CDT)From: "S. We are checking the problems that you have described. We are going to add all the control features that are available in the test program that ships with the DT3155. Unfortunately we do not have the ability to test all the control features such as the sync threshold. We are completing the Window95 support for this card and we intend to send the final plugin for a more thorough testing by the people at Data Translation. We are also trying to add support for the DT3152 at the same time. The problem with the DT3152 is that we can only test a few of the features that are supported by that board as well. We will have to rely on Data Translation to determine if all the features are supported. We will publish the results of their test once they are completed.I know it is difficult but we must ask for your patience in getting this work done. We hope to release version 1.25 by the end of July which will have all the new Data Translation stuff and some other really nice features that many of the user have been asking for.So long for know. By the way we might need some alpha testers to check and see if this new version corrects the problems that have been described. If you are a DT3155 user please send an email to me direct and we can set up a test of the new software.S.
